This week, MasAmerica had the pleasure of being part of the Nefesh B’Nefesh Be’er Sheva Pitch Night, where we got to speak, meet, and greet the talented and enthusiastic Anglo olim from the South of Israel who are paving their way to success here in Israel.
The Pitch Night is Nefesh B’Nefesh’s premier networking event for Olim entrepreneurs and small business owners. The event was exciting, lively, and we got to present a “MasAmerica Golden Ticket” to two lucky winners. What can be better than that?!
Here are five takeaways we wanted to share from that night in WeWork Be’er Sheva.
- We were thoroughly impressed by the talent and enthusiasm of the Anglo olim there and we see that they are on the best path to success in transitioning to life here.
- Nefesh B’Nefesh and KKL must be applauded for encouraging olim to be proactive with their dreams and success. The Boot Camp was about providing tools for individual entrepreneurs to succeed. Not people with high tech ideas, but even those who were starting a dog walking, comic book publishing, and flower arranging businesses.
- MasAmerica is not like other US tax or accounting firms. As we spoke with nearly every participant with US ties (either because they were citizens or because they want to do business in the US)– which was nearly everyone, we saw how we have the ability to provide them with the one address for tax, accounting, and legal guidance. Our business boutique services are perfectly set up to help guide them toward success.
- Golden Ticket winner, Yosef Singer’s product will aid law enforcement in the US. We spent a good amount of time listening to his plans and understanding how MasAmerica could help him achieve his goals. The Golden Ticket will remove early administrative headaches and allow him to focus more on the technical.
- Golden Ticket winner, Ziv Mor’s company is also a platform for promoting peace and it also involves establishing and managing a US not-for-profit.
